Anil has substantial experience (over 20 years) in working closely with small and medium sized enterprises and is normally the first point of contact for new clients. He has worked with business owners ranging from one man start ups (and helped to grow their business to generate annual turnover of multi million pounds) to much larger companies requiring a multitude of different services. He has substantial experience in working closely with owners of small and medium sized enterprises in various industries. He is therefore particularly aware of problems faced by growing businesses in difficult economic environments having built up Kumar Strategic Consultants from scratch since 1985.

Anil has spent considerable time and energy in developing inter-personal and business skills

Prior to setting up Kumar Strategic Consultants (with one client) in 1985, Anil trained with a eleven partner west end firm and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983.

Outside work:

Anil is keen to get involved in local affairs and served 14 years on the board of a local community charity. He likes to socialize with both clients (who have over the years become friends) and also non clients. Anil would argue his main expertise is as a goalie in indoor 5 a side football (if only he would not let in so many goals!).

Experience & specialism's:

Charles has many years experience of working with small to medium size businesses having joined Kumar Strategic Consultants in October 2004 having gained his experience in other firms based in London and Middlesex. Charles has extensive charity audit and accounts experience and particularly enjoys helping entrepreneurial clients to grow their business and become more profitable.

Charles is also a diploma in financial planning certificate holder and is therefore extremely knowledgeable about financial services matters.

Outside work:

Charles is a keen sportsman who enjoys playing basketball (he is 6' 2"), rugby and walking. In July 2009 he successfully completed a 10km charity walk raising funds for a local charity.

Bryan in his past life was a tax manager at Grant Thornton (one of the major international firms). He has substantial experience in all aspects of tax and related matters.

Bryan's expertise without doubt is taxation, taxation, taxation and raising four kids. You have to be very good at keeping your tax bills low to be able to afford putting four kids through private school.

Outside work:

Badminton is Bryan's passion. If you can't find him he is probably on a badminton court somewhere.

Yuen is a qualified accountant with more than 25 years experience in auditing and all aspects of accounting. He has worked in one of the major international audit firms for about 10 years and thereafter held senior management positions in several private enterprises. He therefore has considerable knowledge and experience in a variety of businesses, both as an external auditor/accountant as well as from ‘within’ the business. Yuen provides a full range of management accounting services to clients visiting them regularly and working closely with the owners to ensure their accounting departments work like clockwork.

Outside work:

Yuen likes to travel and apart from South America and Africa has seen almost everything else. In his spare time he is an avid table tennis player. Do not challenge him to a match…unless you like to lose.

Experience & specialism's:

Over the last few years Eva has obtained substantial experience in all areas of bookkeeping and VAT matters, having worked in a multitude of industries, both in the public and private sectors.  She works closely with clients requiring hands on assistance with their accounting requirements and working alongside their in-house accounting team.

Outside work:

Eva’s passion in her spare time is aerobics, reading, travelling and spending time with her friends.

Experience & specialism's:

Trisha has over ten years secretarial experience in a variety of different business environments. She joined Kumar Strategic Consultants. in July 2004 and deals mainly with the day to day administrative duties for the company. She is a vital member of our team, and ensures all administrative matters are organised and run smoothly.

Outside work:

Trisha enjoys spending much of her social time with family and friends. She is keen on aerobics, swimming, reading and travelling.

Marketing & Accounts Assistant

Sonia joined Kumar Strategic Consultants in November 2003 whilst finishing her education. For the past year Sonia has been concentrating on sales and marketing where she enjoys talking to and meeting new people who are interested in not only accounts but also business growth and development. Kumar Strategic Consultants also lets her 'run loose' when she puts on her 'credit control' hat and chases our late paying clients for outstanding fees. Whilst you will enjoy talking to her, just hope she has no reason to call you for late payment! Sonia is a key member of our team and also enjoys participating in preparation of accounts for our smaller clients, as well as assisting in administrative duties.

Outside work:

Sonia has a passion for nature and the environment and has an affinity for animals and has particular interest in environmental sciences and statistics. She hopes to start her thesis based on ecological research in the near future. Her hobbies include watching films, sports, dancing and listening to music as well as relaxing at home with her family (which includes her cat!).

Sue absolutely loves talking with and meeting new people and has a distinguished background in customer services. During the last five years she has concentrated in sales and marketing and is currently a very instrumental and key member of our team in helping us achieve our marketing and new business goals.

Outside work:

Despite the demands of a young 3 year old daughter, you will always find Sue extremely energetic and bubbly. Catch her at the right time and you will not fail to notice that she possesses a wicked sense of humour.

She is very proud of her feet (size 10 if you must know). Weekends are for her family but in the time she has to herself you will find her clubbing and having a 'girls night out' with her many friends - either that or you will find her in an upmarket shoe shop checking out the latest footwear for next Friday night!
