Experience & Specialism's: Charles has over 24 years experience of working with small to medium size businesses having gained his experience in other firms based in London and Middlesex. Charles has extensive charity audit and accounts experience and particularly enjoys helping entrepreneurial clients to grow their business and become more profitable.
Charles is also a diploma in financial planning certificate holder and is therefore extremely knowledgeable about financial services matters.
He is also a specialist lifetime mortgage advisor with the relevant professional qualifications and experience in dealing with Lifetime Mortgages. That makes him a specialist for dealing with clients of all ages and needs on Mortgages, Investments, Insurance, Pensions, Equity Release, etc…
Charles is an online accounting software expert with vast experience of working on Xero, Quickbooks and Kashflow amongst others. He is a Quickbook Certified Accountant and a Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
Charles enjoys working with various clients who include landlords, startups businesses, small companies , partnerships and self-employed individuals to achieve their business and personal goals. He has presented at various landlords forums including The National Landlords Association meetings and enjoys working with client to review their current circumstances and portfolio and implement and tax planning and protection recommendations.
Outside Work: Charles is a keen sportsman who enjoys running, walking and playing basketball (he is 6' 2"). He is also a keen charity fund raiser and regularly does charity walks to raise funds for a local charity.

Experience & Specialism's: Anil was the original founder of Kumar having originally set it up as a sole practice in 1985. Anil has substantial experience with almost 40 years working closely with small and medium sized enterprises and is normally the first point of contact for new clients. He has worked with business owners ranging from one man start ups (and helped to grow their business to generate annual turnover of tens of millions) to much larger companies requiring a multitude of different services. He specialises in working closely with owners of small and medium sized enterprises in various industries helping them to develop strategic plans and improve their growth and profits. He is therefore particularly aware of problems faced by growing businesses in difficult economic environments.
Anil is a recognised public speaker and regularly presents at network and industry specific events, most notably at property and related functions where his expertise is in much demand
He acts as a non executive director for many businesses helping them to make every day business decisions and reach their goals.
Anil qualified as a chartered accountant on 1983 and trained with a eleven partner west end firm. He setup the firm in 1985 and successfully ran it till recently.
Outside Work: Anil is keen to get involved in local and national affairs and served almost 20 years working for The Princes Trust helping young entrepreneurs start their own business. His work was recognised when he was invited to Buckingham Palace to meet the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
In 2011 he was chosen to accompany a business delegation organised by UKTI to India with a view to increase trade between the two countries. This was timed to coincide with a visit by Lord Green the UK Trade Minister and recognised Anil’s extensive business experience in both countries.
More recently he personally met the current Prime Minister of India - Mr Narendra Modi to discuss plans for real estate and tourist development in the city of Ahmedabad.
He likes to socialize with both clients (who have over the years become friends) and also non clients. Anil would argue his main expertise was as a goalie in indoor 5 a side football but now admits age has caught up with him. Nowadays he is more likely to be seen with a large glass of wine rather than a football.
He continues to act as a trustee on the boards of various local charities both in the UK and abroad working with communities, education and underprivileged children.

Experience & Specialism's: Chau Le brings over 7 years of experience in a professional practice environment. Beginning his career as an Assistant Accountant, he has advanced to a senior role, gaining extensive expertise in the areas of financial accounts preparation and finalization, tax returns, VAT compliance, and management accounts.
Outside Work: Chau enjoys staying active at the gym and pursuing his passion for cooking.

Position: Tax Consultant

Experience & Specialism's: Bryan in his past life was a tax manager at Grant Thornton (one of the major international firms). He has substantial experience in all aspects of tax and related matters.
Bryan's expertise without doubt is taxation, taxation, taxation and raising four kids. You have to be very good at keeping your tax bills low to be able to afford putting four kids through private school.
Outside Work: Badminton is Bryan's passion. If you can't find him he is probably on a badminton court somewhere.

Experience & Specialism's: Kavi has over 18 years experience in a practice environment having started as a Junior and progressed to a Senior position. Her expertise lies in accounts preparation/finalisation, tax returns, VAT and management accounts.
Outside Work: Kavi spends regular time at the gym and is often seen doing voluntary work for charitable organisations. She is also a keen cyclist.

Position: Senior Management Accountant
Qualifications: FCCA Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants
Experience & Specialism's: Yuen is a qualified accountant with more than 25 years experience in auditing and all aspects of accounting. He has worked in one of the major international audit firms for about 10 years and thereafter held senior management positions in several private enterprises. He therefore has considerable knowledge and experience in a variety of businesses, both as an external auditor/accountant as well as from ‘within’ the business. Yuen provides a full range of management accounting services to clients visiting them regularly and working closely with the owners to ensure their accounting departments work like clockwork.
Outside Work: Yuen likes to travel and apart from South America and Africa has seen almost everything else. In his spare time he is an avid table tennis player. Do not challenge him to a match…unless you like to lose.
Shani Ashton
Position: Administrator
Qualifications: BTEC Level 3 Business (Extended Diploma) & BTEC Level 2 Diploma Extended Certificate in Business
Experience & Specialism's: Shani has many years of experience in customer service and marketing as well as extensive PA experience. Shani has excellent communication skills, marketing skills and is extremely tech savvy. She has developed a close interactive relationships with clients, and is normally the first point of contact.
Outside Work: Shani spends most of her free time home doing the things she loves, painting, cooking and baking, if she’s not there she is volunteering at local contact centre for kids where she spends most of her weekends, helping prepare food and snacks and activities for the children. She has recently taken up a new hobby of coding as she is building her own PC and would like to create her own game one day.
